The materials' extreme hardness combined with its transparency in the infrared spectrum range make it ideal for infrared window applications.

The combination of hardness and ultra high abrasive resistance is ideal for applications suffering from the extreme conditions experienced in desert conditions.

As an electrical insulator and high thermal conductor it can be applied to surfaces to dissipate heat in applications sensitive to thermal overheating.
