Chief Executive Officer - Chris H Walker

Chris studied Engineering at Cardiff University before starting his career in the Aerospace industry with GEC Marconi. He then worked for The Timken Company whilst pursuing further qualifications in Marketing, becoming a Chartered Marketer and Fellow of the CIM. He is an experienced International Manager, having worked throughout Europe, the Middle East and South America, building new business opportunities in technology, managing acquisitions and setting up sales and marketing operations.

Chief Technology Officer -Sergey Aleksandrov

Sergey studied his Masters Degree at The Moscow State Technical University and started his activity at The Kurchatov Institute, has dedicated much of his career to the technical development and application of DLC's as well as other types of coating. He has experience of establishing and developing early stage start up organisations.

David Denny- Director

David has a degree in engineering from Newcastle University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He spent his early career with Metalbox, working in a range of operational roles from product innovation to production managing can-making plants in Argentina, France, Spain and Belgium. He later worked building the European and Asian business for Z Corporation, an MIT tech start up (sold in 2005 for $70million).

Chris Wort, Venture Manager - Technology for Element Six Ventures (E6V) and Director

Chris provides technical advice to all E6V's portfolio companies and represents E6V on the Board of DHS. After graduating in Physics from Southampton University in 1984, Chris started his career working on "Diamond Like Carbon" coatings at Plessey Research Caswell Ltd, and has been actively involved in all aspects of the development and commercialisation of CVD diamond since 1986. His pioneering work has culminated in more than 22 granted patents and 25 scientific publications. He has also taken active project management roles in new product concepts and product development giving him a unique insight into the innovation and commercialisation process.
